Since time immemorial, Bangladesh has been home to pious men. As a Muslim-majority country, Bangladesh has always been advocating for peaceful and safe life as most Muslim countries have always done. While other countries of the world were poisoned with the germ of terrorism, Bangladesh was known as the land of peace and security. However, the situation has now changed. Terrorism and militancy is spreading also in Bangladesh due to multidimensional reasons. Sometimes by leveraging the piousness of the nation, attempts are being made to spread terrorism in the country, confusing the principles and directions of Islam for its directions among some ordinary Muslims. As a result, terrorism, also in the name of religion, is taking roots in Bangladesh. Insecurity and instability have descended in people’s lives.
