Abstract
Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa (PBUH), the Prophet of Islam and the ambassador of liberation for humanity, was the charter of freedom and the embodiment of mercy. Almighty Allah has emphasized love for the Prophet (PBUH) in the Holy Quran. Numerous hadiths also highlight this aspect. Some of the Companions of the Prophet (PBUH), such as Zayd bin Thabit and Ka’b bin Zuhayr, composed poems expressing their love for him. The National Poet of Bangladesh, Kazi Nazrul Islam, demonstrated indescribable love and respect for Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa (PBUH) in his writings. In his songs and poems, he spread the light of the Prophet’s love everywhere. Perhaps no other Bengali writer has done so as extensively as he did. Even among the renowned writers of Bengali literature, no one else has composed as many songs about the Prophet (PBUH). Apart from Persian literature, only Nazrul created such beautiful literary works about the Prophet (PBUH) on a global scale. The charming melody of the Prophet’s (PBUH) love resonates in many of his compositions, which continue to inspire millions of Muslims today.
